मलिंचा में खिड़की तोड़ लाखों की चोरी, जेवरात सहित अन्य सामान गायब, बाहर गए थे घरवाले, जांच में जुटी पुलिस
खड़गपुर, खड़गपुर शहर के मलिंचा इलाके में खिड़की तोड़ कर चोरों ने लाखों के जेवरात व पीतल के बर्तन उड़ा लिए। जानकारी के मुताबिक वार्ड 14 के मलिंचा रोड में जुडिओ माल के सामने स्थित एक आवास में चोरी की घटना प्रकाश में आया है। पता चला है कि वाई राजाराम नामक निजी बैंक कर्मचारी अपने परिवार सहित विशाखापत्तनम में रहता था।
उसी कैंपस के अन्य कमरे में चाचा चाची भी रहते थे। राजाराम का कहना है कि वह विशाखापत्तनम में था जबकि चाचा पारिवारिक कार्य को लेकर कटक गया था तभी घर में कोई ना होने का फायदा उठाते हुए उसके घर की लकड़ी की खिड़की तोड़कर बच्ची के डेढ़ तोला के कान के बाला उडा ले गए चोरो ने आलमारी के अलावा घर में रखे चार बोरा पीतल के पुराने कीमती बर्तन भी ले गए। राजाराम काकहना है कि बीते पोंगल में वह खड़गपुर अपने घर आया था तभी बच्चे के गहने यहीं छोड़ गए थे। उसे मई माह में बच्चों की गर्मी छुट्टी के समय खड़गपुर आना था लेकिन इस बीच चोरी की खबर पा उसे गुरुवार को आना पड़ा राजाराम ने खड़गपुर शहर थाना में आज लिखित शिकायत कराई।
चाचा वाई जे राव टाटा बियरिंग के रिटायर्ड कर्मचारी है वाई जे राव का कहना है कि बीते 1 अप्रैल को वह कटक अपने छोटी बहू से मिलने कटक गए थे तभी उक्त घटना घटी। वाई जे राव बीते 7 को वापस खड़गपुर लौट गए। पीड़ित परिवार का मानना है कि स्थानीय बदमाशों ने ही घटना को अंजाम दिया है। शिकायत मिलने पर पुलिस प्राथमिक जांच में जुटी है पुलिस का कहना है कि पीतल के बर्तन सहित अन्य सामान चोरी की खबर मिली है मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
