रेलवे ने मृत और घायल यात्रियों के लिए अनुग्रह राशि दी

30.07.2024 को चक्रधरपुर मंडल के बड़ाबाम्बो स्टेशन के पास 12810 हावड़ा मुंबई मेल के पटरी से उतरने के संबंध में, चक्रधरपुर रेलवे अस्पताल में भर्ती आठ घायल यात्रियों और दो मृत यात्रियों के परिवार के सदस्यों को अनुग्रह राशि का भुगतान पहले ही किया जा चुका है।
* मृत यात्रियों के परिजनों, रेलवे कॉलोनी, राउरकेला के श्री पी. विकास और मालगोडाउन, राउरकेला के श्री अजीत कुमार सामल को भी अनुग्रह राशि दी गई है।
उपर्युक्त दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण ट्रेन दुर्घटना (पटरी से उतरना) में, भारत सरकार ने माननीय रेल मंत्री के माध्यम से पीड़ितों को मानवीय आधार पर विशेष मामले के रूप में निम्नलिखित पैमाने पर बढ़ी हुई अनुग्रह राशि के भुगतान की घोषणा की है –
* रु. प्रत्येक मृतक के निकट संबंधी को 10,00,000/- (केवल दस लाख रुपये)।
* रु. गंभीर चोट लगने वाले प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को 5,00,000/- (केवल पांच लाख रुपये)।
* रु. साधारण चोट लगने वाले प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को 1,00,000/- (केवल एक लाख रुपये)।

RAILWAY GRANTS EX-GRATIA PAYMENT FOR THE DECEASED AND INJURED PASSENGERS

In connection with the derailment of 12810 Howrah Mumbai Mail near Barabambo station of Chakradharpur Division on 30.07.2024, Ex-gratia has already been paid to eight injured passengers and family members of two deceased passengers who were admitted to Chakradharpur Railway Hospital.

* The kin of the deceased passengers, Mr. P. Bikash of Railway Colony, Rourkela and Mr. Ajit Kumar Samal of Malgodown, Rourkela have also been granted Ex gratia payment.
In the above mentioned unfortunate train accident (derailment), Government of India through the Hon’ble Minister of Railways has announced payment of enhanced ex-gratia to the victims, as a special case on humanitarian grounds, at the following scales –
* Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) to the next of kin of each deceased.
* Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh only) to each of the persons who sustained grievous injury.
* Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to each of the persons who sustained simple injury.
