खड़गपुर, पुरुष आयोग की मांग के लिए निकली देशव्यापी बाइक यात्रा खड़गपुर के बोगदा पहुंची तो सेव अवर फैमिली ट्रेडिशन (सॉफ्ट) के खड़गपुर इकाई की ओर से स्वागत किया गया। ज्ञात हो कि साफ्ट महिला आयोग के उलट पुरुष के अधिकारों के लिए लड़ने वाली संगठन है जिसकी पूरे पश्चिम बंगाल में कई शाखाएं हैं। संगठन के प्रवक्ता सुमन डे और संजय नाग ने इस मुद्दे के प्रति अपना समर्थन और एकजुटता व्यक्त की। सुमन डे ने कहा, “हमें इन साहसी राइडर्स की मेजबानी और समर्थन करने पर गर्व है जो पुरुषों के अधिकारों और कल्याण की वकालत कर रहे हैं। उनकी यात्रा लैंगिक न्याय की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम का प्रतीक है।”
सेव इंडियन फैमिली मूवमेंट के तत्वावधान में काम करने वाली दिल्ली स्थित गैर सरकारी संगठन, द मेंस वेलफेयर ट्रस्ट (एमडब्ल्यूटी) ने भारत में पुरुष आयोग की स्थापना की वकालत करते हुए अपनी अग्रणी राष्ट्रव्यापी बाइक यात्रा कर ही है। बाइकर्स अमजद खान और संदीप पावरिया के नेतृत्व में इस ऐतिहासिक कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पुरुषों को प्रभावित करने वाले महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है, जिसमें पुरुषों के प्रति बढ़ती आत्महत्या और लिंग-आधारित कानूनों का दुरुपयोग शामिल है। 26 मई, 2024 को गुरुग्राम से हरी झंडी दिखाने के बाद से बाईकरों ने 4,200 किलोमीटर से अधिक की यात्रा की है।
बाइकर्स का नाम अमजद खान व संदीप पावरी नई दिल्ली के रहने वाले हैं दोनों भ्रमण करते हुए शुक्रवार को कोलकाता से आये व इसके बाद भुवनेश्वर के लिए रवाना हो गए।
राइडर्स ने कई प्रमुख शहरों को कवर किया है, जिनमें शामिल हैं गुरुग्राम, दिल्ली, लखनऊ, पटना, सिलीगुड़ी, कोलकाता, खड़गपुर। यात्रा भुवनेश्वर होते हुए विशाखापत्तनम, गुंटूर, चेन्नई, रामेश्वरम, कन्याकुमारी, त्रिशूर, गोवा, कोल्हापुर, पुणे, मुंबई, अहमदाबाद, जैसलमेर, बीकानेर, चंडीगढ़, जम्मू, कारगिल, लेह, सरचू, मनाली। , शिमला, देहरादून, हरिद्वार जाएगी।
खड़गपुर में पुरुष अधिकार संगठन “सॉफ्ट” के समन्वयक, श्री सुमन डे ने इस पहल की तत्काल आवश्यकता पर जोर देते हुए कहा, “140 करोड़ से अधिक लोगों के देश में, पुरुषों के मुद्दों को अक्सर नजरअंदाज कर दिया जाता है। पुरुष आयोग की स्थापना महत्वपूर्ण है पुरुषों और लड़कों के सामने आने वाली अनोखी चुनौतियों का समाधान करने के लिए यह यात्रा केवल जागरूकता बढ़ाने और कार्रवाई की मांग करने और यह सुनिश्चित करने के बारे में है कि पुरुषों की आवाज़ सुनी जाए।”
स्वयंसेवक श्री नीरज वर्मा ने सवारी का समर्थन करने के लिए अपनी व्यक्तिगत प्रेरणा साझा की: “एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के रूप में जिसने पुरुषों द्वारा सामना की जाने वाली चुनौतियों को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से देखा है, मुझे इस पहल का हिस्सा होने पर गर्व है। अब समय आ गया है कि हम पहचानें कि पुरुष भी हिंसा के शिकार हैं यह यात्रा यह सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक कदम है कि पुरुषों के मुद्दों को स्वीकार किया जाए और उनका समाधान किया जाए।”
सॉफ्ट के प्रवक्ता, संजय नाग ने कहा, “यह पहल अपने बच्चों के जीवन से पिता के अलगाव को रोकने के लिए व्यापक मानसिक स्वास्थ्य सहायता, न्यायसंगत कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं और साझा पालन-पोषण प्रथाओं की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डालती है।

Kharagpur, May 31, 2024 — The Men Welfare Trust (MWT), a Delhi-based NGO working under the aegis of Save Indian Family Movement, has brought its pioneering nationwide bike ride advocating for the establishment of a Men’s Commission in India to Kharagpur today. This historic event, spearheaded by bikers Amjad Khan and Sandeep Pawaria, aims to raise awareness about critical issues affecting men, including rising male suicides and the misuse of gender-based laws. The riders have journeyed over 4,200 kilometers since the flag-off from Gurugram on May 26, 2024.
