दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे सुरक्षा बल द्वारा उच्च मूल्य की रेलवे संपत्ति के दुर्विनियोग का मामला उद्भेदित किया गया

जोनल भंडार शाखा के प्रभार हस्तान्तरण के दौरान यू.पी.एस एवं अन्य उपकरणों के वितरण में विसंगतिया प्रकाश में आयी । प्रभार लेने वाले निरीक्षक द्वारा मामला तुरंत रेल सुरक्षा वल प्रशासन, दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे, कोलकाता के संज्ञान में लाया गया। जिसके आधार पर आंतरिक सतर्कता शाखा की जाँच में प्रथम दृष्टा रेलवे संपत्ति के दुर्विनियोग में 01 निरीक्षक, 01 उप-निरीक्षक एवं 01 प्रधान आरक्षक की संलिप्तता पाई गई।
उपरोक्त जाँच के आधार पर तीनो कर्मियों को निलंबित कर के उनके विरुध्द अनुशासानिक कार्यवाही आरम्भ की गई है। इसके अतिरिक्त रेलवे संपत्ति अवैध कब्ज़ा अधिनियम के अंतर्गत निरीक्षक एवं अन्य के खिलाफ रेलवे सुरक्षा बल थाना GRC में एक आपराधिक प्रकरण भी दर्ज किया गया है। दुर्विनियोग रेलवे सम्पति का मूल्य 17,65,456/- है ।
DETECTION OF HIGH VALUE MISAPPROPRIATION OF RAILWAY MATERIAL BY RPF SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

During the hand over of store charge between two Inspectors, the incoming Inspector noticed discrepancies in the distribution of UPS units and their accessories which were procured in the year 2022. The matter was brought to the attention of RPF administration South Eastern Railway who ordered an enquiry by Internal Vigilance Group (IVG) of RPF/S.E.R.
The IVG enquiry report dated 20.06.2024 substantiated misappropriation of the railway property and found prima facie evidence of involvement and connivance of 01 Inspector, 01 Sub-Inspector and 01 Head-Constable. Consequently, the Inspector, the Sub-Inspector and the Head-Constable have been placed under suspension and departmental proceedings for major penalty have been started against all three of them. Additionally, a criminal case under RP(UP) Act has been registered at RPF Post, Garden Reach, Kharagpur Division against the Inspector and other.
The value of the misappropriated railway property is about 17,65,456/-. Further enquiry is in progress.
