नीमपुरा में ट्रेन हादसा, रेलवे ने बताया मॉक ड्रिल, दक्षिण भारत की कई ट्रेन रद्द

 

आपदा प्रबंधन तैयारियों की जांच करने के लिए एनडीआरएफ टीम के समन्वय से खड़गपुर डिवीजन द्वारा एक मॉक ड्रिल आयोजित की गई । मॉक ड्रिल खड़गपुर डिवीजन के नीमपुरा यार्ड में आयोजित की गई थी।

राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया टीम (एनडीआरएफ) और खड़गपुर रेलवे ने संयुक्त रूप से ऐसी स्थितियों के दौरान कर्मचारियों की तैयारियों और कौशल स्तर की जांच करने के लिए बचाव अभियान ड्रिल का आयोजन किया।

आपदा प्रतिक्रिया दल का नेतृत्व वरिष्ठ डीएसओ/केजीपी श्री अमित कुमार ने किया। इस अभियान में वाणिज्यिक, एसएंडटी, ऑपरेटिंग, मैकेनिकल, मेडिकल, इंजीनियरिंग, आरपीएफ, नागरिक सुरक्षा, सुरक्षा और एनडीआरएफ की टीमों ने भाग लिया। समूह ने ऐसी आपदा स्थितियों के दौरान जीवन और सामान की सुरक्षा पर अपने कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया।

अस्पतालों की स्थापना, पूछताछ सह क्या मैं आपकी मदद कर सकता हूं बूथ, प्राथमिक चिकित्सा बूथ, अनुग्रह भुगतान बूथ स्थानों पर बनाए गए थे। सुबह करीब 11.30 बजे डीआरएम कार्यालय, खड़गपुर से हूटर बजाया गया। कर्मचारियों, दुर्घटना राहत ट्रेन, मेडिकल वैन को तुरंत घटनास्थल की ओर रवाना किया गया और जल्द से जल्द राहत कार्य शुरू किया गया। क्षतिग्रस्त डिब्बों के अंदर डमी रखी गईं। पूरी ड्रिल पूरी होने के बाद डीआरएम खड़गपुर ने कार्रवाई को मॉक ड्रिल बताया।

A mock drill was conducted by Kharagpur division in coordination with NDRF Team to check the disaster management preparedness of the employees in case of exigencies and disaster situations. The mock drill was conducted at the Nimpura Yard of Kharagpur Division. 

The National Disaster Response Team (NDRF) and Kharagpur railway jointly conducted the rescue operations drill to check the preparedness and skills level of the staff during such situations. 

The Disaster Response Team was headed by Sr. DSO/KGP Shri Amit Kumar. Teams from Commercial, S&T, Operating, Mechanical, Medical, Engineering, RPF, Civil Defence, Safety and NDRF participated in this drive. The group demonstrated their skills on protection of lives and belongings during such disaster situations.

Setup of hospitals, enquiry cum may I help you booth, First Aid booths, Ex-Gratia payment booths were made at the locations. The hooter was sirened at around 11.30 am from the DRM office, Kharagpur. Staff, Accident relief train, medical van were rushed immediately towards the site and relief work started as soon as possible. Dummies were placed inside the damaged coaches. After the completion of the whole drill, DRM Kharagpur declared the actions as a mock drill.

  • 12863 Howrah-Yesvantpur Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 22:55 hrs on 03.12.2023 has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 02:25 hrs on 04.12.2023
  • 12867 Howrah-Puducherry Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 23:25 hrs on 03.12.2023 has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 03:05 hrs on 04.12.2023
  •       22642 Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Express scheduled to leave Shalimar at 23:50 hrs on 03.12.2023 has been rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 02:50  hrs on 04.12.2023

HON’BLE MPs OF DIVISIONAL COMMITTEE OF RANCHI AND CHAKRADHARPUR

HELD MEETING WITH GENERAL MANAGER OF SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

 

Kolkata, 29th November, 2023:

 

Hon’ble Members of Parliament (both from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) of the Divisional Committee comprising of Ranchi and Chakradharpur Divisions of SER held a meeting with Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway  at Ranchi today (29.11.2023).  Altogether 9 Hon’ble MPs attended the meeting. The Divisional Committee Meeting was chaired by Shri Sudarshan Bhagat and Shri Deepak Prakash, Hon’ble Members of Parliament.

The other Hon’ble Members of Parliament who attended the meeting were Smt Mahua Maji, Smt. Geeta Koda, Shri Sanjay Seth, Ms. Chandrani Murmu, Smt. Mamata Mohanta, Shri Samir Oraon and Shri Aditya Prasad.

Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway welcomed the Hon’ble Members of Parliament and thanked them for their consistent support and cooperation. Hon’ble MPs appreciated the overall performance of SER and assured their cooperation for the smooth functioning of the railway.

During the session, Hon’ble MPs advised the railway authority o­n various issues associated with train services, stoppages, cleanliness, expeditious completion of railway projects etc. for the benefit of the passengers. They have also offered their valuable suggestions for development of railway infrastructure over Ranchi and Chakradharpur Division. Hon’ble MPs laid emphasis o­n several passenger amenity works at different stations.  They have also requested for new trains and new stoppages of existing trains.. Discussions were also held o­n construction and completion of new lines, Road overbridges, underpass, increase in frequency of trains, extension of service, up-gradation of stations etc.

The General Manager apprised the Hon’ble MPs of the performance of South Eastern Railway, both in freight and passenger sector for the current financial year. He also highlighted the services in respect of passenger amenities and environment friendly measures adopted by South Eastern Railway. General Manager stated that the suggestions offered by the Hon’ble MPs for development of passenger amenities and railway infrastructure would be reviewed with paramount importance.

Shri Jasmeet Singh Bindra, Divisional Railway Manager, Ranchi, Shri Arun Jatoh Rathod, Divisional Railway Manager, Chakradharpur and Principal Head of the Departments of South Eastern Railway also attended the meeting.
