ONE COACH OF AMTA-HOWRAH LOCAL DERAILED
WHILE ENTERING HOWRAH STATION
Kolkata, 19th March, 2023:
38908 Amta-Howrah EMU local while entering Platform No. 19 of Howrah station ( New Complex) at about 9:45 hrs today (19.03.2023) one of its coach ( 3rd from rear i.e. Kharagpur end) got derailed.
ART van arrived site immediately to re-rail the coach and restore normal train movement from PF No. 19 of Howrah station.
There was no injury to any person in this incident.
As a result of the derailment at Howrah Yard, the following trains of South Eastern Railway will be short terminated at Santragachi:-
- 18044 Bhadrak-Howrah Bagha Jatin Express
- 12814 Tatanagar-Howrah Steel Express
- 18004 Adra-Howrah-Shiromani Express
This apart, the following trains are detaining in the section:-
- 38422 Panskura-Howrah Local
- 38810 Midnapur-Howrah Local
- 12828 Purulia-Howrah Express
