Young Men’s Christian Association/खड़गपुर (YMCA) के सदस्यों द्वारा बड़े ही धूम धाम से 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मना

Young Men’s Christian Association/खङगपूर (YMCA) के सदस्यों द्वारा बड़े ही धूम धाम से 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया गया। इस पावन अवसर पर YMCA/खड़गपुर, ने बच्चों के बीच राष्ट्रीयता और देशभक्ति की भावना को जागृत करने के लिए उनके बीच एक देशभक्ति गीत गायन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया।
माननीय अध्यक्ष महोदय YMCA खड़गपुर, श्री जॉन सैमुअल कॉक्स, माननीय सचिव महोदय श्री एफ. डी. टिर्की, कोषाध्यक्ष श्री डेविड विलियम बेहेरा, एवं अन्य सदस्यों के द्वारा अतिथिगण का मिठाइयों और नाश्ता से स्वागत किया गया। प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक मंडल में शामिल श्री मसीह प्रकाश समद, GEL चर्च पूरी गेट, खड़गपुर एवं श्री रंजय दास, वार्ड मेमोरियल बैपटिस्ट चर्च, खरीदा, के द्वारा प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरूस्कार का चयन किया गया तथा माननीय श्री प्रदीप बेहेरा, सचिव, वार्ड मेमोरियल बैपटिस्ट चर्च, खरीदा, एवं श्री एस. के बेहेरा वरिष्ठ सदस्य वार्ड मेमोरियल बैपटिस्ट चर्च, खरीदा, के कर कमलों से बच्चों को पुरुस्कृत किया गया। प्रतियोगिता में शामिल सभी प्रतियोगियों को सांत्वना पुरूस्कार भी दिया गया। समारोह का समापन धन्यवाद प्रार्थना के साथ तमाम उपस्थित सदस्यों के द्वारा राष्ट्रगान गाकर किया गया।

YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION, Kharagpur celebrated 76th Independence Day in Ward Memorial Baptist Church Campus. On this auspicious occasion, YMCA,Kharagpur organized a ” Children Patriotic Song Competition “to bring about the spirit of ‘Patriotism ‘ for the country in young hearts.
President YMCA, Kharagpur – Mr. John Samuel Cox, Secretary — Mr. F.D.TIRKEY and Treasurer — Mr.David Samuel Behera alongwith the dedicated members of YMCA, Kharagpur welcomed the guests with sweets. The respected judges, Mr. Ranjay Das of Ward Memorial Baptist Church, Kharida and Mr.Masih Prakash Samad of G.E.L.Church, Puri Gate, Kharagpur selected the First, Second and Third prizes amongst the best singers and prizes were presented by Sri. Pradip Behera, Secretary/ Ward Memorial Baptist Church, Kharida alongside Mr.S.K.Behera, Elder and Committee member/Ward Memorial Baptist Church Consolation Prizes were given to all participating children in a way to encourage participation.
The programme ended with a ” Thanksgiving Prayer ” and singing of the “National Anthem.”
