INCREASE IN FREQUENCY OF TATANAGAR-ERNAKULAM-TATANAGAR EXPRESS FROM BI-WEEKLY TO FIVE DAYS A WEEK

Kolata, 20th December, 2023:

It has been decided to increase the frequency of 18189/18190 Tatanagar-Ernakulam exptess from Bi-Weekly to five days a week as the following programme:

  • 18189 Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express journey commencing w.e.f 01.01.2024 from Tatanagar will run on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

 

  • 18190 Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express journey commencing w.e.f 04.01.2024 from Ernakulam will run on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

 

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS

IN KHARAGPUR DIVISION

 

In view of developmental work in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway, the following trains will be regulated as under:

 

Cancellation of Trains:

 

● 08031/08032 Balasore-Bhadrak-Balasore MEMU Special will remain cancelled on 20.12.2023, 23.12.2023 & 24.12.2023

● 12278/12277 Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express will remain cancelled on 24.12.2023

 

 

GM INSPECTION – RNTL SECTION

 

GM/SER, Shri Anil Kumar Mishra conducted inspection in KGP-RNTL section of Kharagpur division on 20.12.2023. He was accompanied by DRM Kharagpur Shri K.R. Chaudhary during his inspection. Shri Mishra inspected the work progress of the 3rd line from Ranital Junction Cabin to Ranital station. He then inspected the safety and passenger amenities items at Ranital Station. 

Shri Mishra conducted a window trailing inspection from Ranital station to Bahanaga Bazaar station. He then proceeded to Balasore station and then reached the newly constructed station at Gopinathpur Nilgiri.  GM/SER reviewed the preparedness for opening of passenger services from the new station. He inspected various safety parameters and gave necessary instructions to the officers and staff. 

While returning, GM/SER conducted window trailing inspection from Gopinathpur to Balasore and then from Balasore to Kharagpur. Shri Mishra also inspected the 3rd line progress work at Belda station.
