SER’S MEDICAL DEPARTMENT ORGANISES
10TH ALL INDIA RAILWAY RADOPGRAPHERS ANNUAL CONFERENCE
AND CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Kolkata, 25th November, 2023:
10th All India Railway Radiographers Annual Conference and Continuing Medical Education programme (CME) organized by Indian Railway Radiographers Association and hosted by South Eastern Railway Central Hospital, has been inaugurated at BNR Auditorium, Garden Reach on 25-11-2023. This year, the theme of the conference is ‘Keeping ahead of times in imaging’.
Dr. Sugandha Raha, Director General, Railway Health Services was the Chief Guest on the occasion and inaugurated the two-day conference. Dr. Anjana Malhotra, Principal Chief Medical Director, SER Central Hospital, senior doctors and officers were also present at the inaugural function.
This conference will help the Radiographers for sharing their working experience and also for acquiring best knowledge for service to the mankind and the railway patients. Radiographers from different Railway zones and divisions are attending the programme. The conference will discuss over the technical advancement of radiological imaging system and how to reduce the radiation hazards over the patient as well as over radiologists and radiographers.
Senior doctors from SER Central Hospital & Division Hospital are attending the two-day conference.

REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS IN ADRA DIVISION
Kolkata, 25th October, 2023:
In view of developmental work in Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, the following trains will be regulated as under:
Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:
- 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, journey commencing on 01.12.2023 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
- 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, journey commencing on 28.11.2023, 01.12.2023 & 03.12.2023 will be short terminated at/short originated from Bankura.
- 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, journey commencing on 01.12.2023 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
Diversion of Train:
- 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, journey commencing on 27.11.2023, 29.11.2023, 01.12.2023 & 03.12.2023 will run on diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar.
