खड़गपुर. चांदमारी अस्पताल में नए सुविधाओं को लेकर आज खड़गपुर के एसडीओ योगेश पाटिल अशोक राव की उपस्थिति में प्रशासकीय बैठक हुई जिसमें कई निर्णय लिए गए। बैठक के बाद पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर जिले के मुख्य स्वास्थय अधिकारी सौम्यशंकर षाड़ंगी ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा कि चांदमारी में 15 दिन में डायलिसिस व 2 माह में सिटी स्कैन की सुविधा शुरु हो जाएगी।इसके लिए पुराने भवन में जोरशोर से तैयारी चल रही है.
ज्ञात हो कि बीते कई वर्षों से खड़गपुर शहर के लोग उक्त सुविधाओं की मांग कर रहे हैं। षाड़ंगी ने बताया नए भवन में 100 बेड का होगा वार्ड जिसमें मेडिकल व सर्जिकल के कोल्ड पैशेंट के अलावा नेत्र, इएऩटी, मनोचिकित्सा व स्किन के ओपीडी होगा नए भवन में शिफ्ट होगा। ग्राउंड फ्लोर में एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन कार्य़ालय होगा। दूसरे व तीसरे तल्ले में मेल मेडिकल फीमेल मेडिकल मेल सर्जिकल व फीमेल सर्जिकल के कोल्ड पैशेंट की चिकित्सा होगी। कोल्ड पैशैंट यानि जो खतरे से बाहर हो व जिसमें तुरंत ओटी की जरुरत ना हो।
निकट भविष्य में चौथे तल्ले में मैटरनिटी, लेबर रुम या अन्य विभाग को शिफ्ट करने की योजना है. इसके अलावा स्टाफ कैंटीन बनाया जाएगा जिसके लिए सेल्फ हेल्प ग्रुप की मदद ली जाएगी। पुराने भवन के कार्यालय में पांच बेड की बर्न युनिट चालू की जाएगी।
पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए षाड़ंगी ने कहा कि स्वास्थय साथी को लेकर अब कोई समस्या नहीं है हमलोग राज्य सरकार के फ्री ट्रीटमेंट को लेकर प्रतिबद्ध है व डिस्चार्ज के समय रोगियों को 200 रु का अनुदान भी दिया जा रहा है। षाड़ंगी ने कहा कि दिव्यांगो को प्रमाणपत्र ना मिलने का कारण पोर्टल में समस्या है व पूरे देश में यह समस्या बनी हुई है जिसके कारण हमलोग विकलांग प्रमाणपत्र नहीं दे पा रहे हैं.
चांदमारी के सुपरिटेंडेंट ने कहा कि नई सुविधाओं को सुचारु रुप से चलाने के लिए कांट्रेक्चुअल 16 स्टाफ लिए जा रहे हैं। खड़गपुर नगरपालिका की चेयरपर्सन कल्याणी घोष ने कहा कि जल्द ही चांदमारी अस्पताल में उग आए जंगलों की सफाई की जाएगी जबकि रोगी कल्याण समिति की चेयरपर्सन हेमा चौबे ने कहा कि मॉर्ग में एसी की समस्या सहित रोगियों की कई समस्याओं के प्रति ध्यान आकृष्ट किया गया है व आशा है कि जल्द ही समस्याओं का निराकऱण कर लिया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर असिस्टेंट सुपरिटेंडेंट मिस सोनाली आलू, मिसेज मधुबनी पोद्दार चक्रवर्ती, डाक्टर गौतम माईति, डा. कौशिक व अन्य उपस्थित थे।या तो की नए भवन का औपचारिक उद्घाटनबीते दिनों मेदिनीपुर प्रशासनिक बैठक में सीएम ममता बनर्जी ने वर्चुअल की थी।100 बेड की उद्घाटन के साथ जनवरी में कुल बेडो की संख्या 392 हो जाएगी।

After the meeting, Chief Health Officer of West Medinipur district, Soumyashankar Shadangi, while talking to the journalists, said that dialysis facility will be started in Chandmari in 15 days and city scan facility will be started in 2 months. For this, preparations are going on in full swing in the old building. Let it be known that the people of Kharagpur city have been demanding the above facilities for the last several years. Shadangi told that a total of 100 beds will be started in the new building, there will be a ward of 100 beds in the new building, apart from cold patient of medical and surgical, OPD of eye, ENT, psychiatry and skin will be shifted to the new building. There will be an administration office on the ground floor. The second and third floors will provide treatment for male medical, female medical, male surgical and female surgical cold patients. Cold patient means one who is out of danger and does not require immediate OT.
There is a plan to shift the maternity, labor room or other departments to the fourth floor in the near future. Apart from this, a staff canteen will be built for which the help of self-help group will be taken. A five-bed burn unit will be started in the office of the old building.
Answering the questions of journalists, Sharangi said that now there is no problem regarding Swasthya Sathi, we are committed to the free treatment of the state government and a grant of Rs 200 is also being given to the patients at the time of discharge. Shadangi said that the reason for disabled people not getting certificates is due to the problem in the portal and this problem persists in the entire country due to which we are not able to give disabled certificates.
Chandmari Superintendent said that 16 contractual staff are being hired to run the new facilities smoothly. Kharagpur Municipality Chairperson Kalyani Ghosh said that the bushes that have grown in Chandmari Hospital will soon be cleaned, while Patient Welfare Committee Chairperson Hema Chaubey said that attention has been drawn to many problems of the patients including the problem of AC in the hospital.
