खड़गपुर, खरीदा लेवल क्रासिंग को बंद ना करने की मांग को लेकर आमरा वामपंथी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने आज खरीदा में हस्ताक्षर अभियान चलाया व प्रतिवाद सभा की। सभा को संबोधित करते हुए आमरा बामपंथी के नेता अनिल दास ने कहा कि संग्रह किए हस्ताक्षर को लेकर डीएम व एसडीओ को सौंपा जाएगा व मामले में हस्तक्षेप की मांग करेंगे।

अनिल दास ने सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि  खरीदा लेबल क्रॉसिंग खड़गपुर के आम लोगों के लिए परिवहन की जीवन रेखा है। 12 जनवरी को गिरिमैदान फ्लाईओवर के उद्घाटन के साथ ही रेलवे प्रशासन ने गिरिमैदान लेवल क्रॉसिंग को बंद कर दिया था। योजना खरीदा लेवल क्रॉसिंग को भी बंद करने की थी। लेकिन वामपंथी संगठनों के लगातार आंदोलन के परिणामस्वरूप रेलवे बंद नहीं कर पाई.

फिलहाल टाउन थाना फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण होते ही रेलवे प्रशासन ने खरिदा लेबल क्रॉसिंग को बंद करने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ा दिया है. खरीदा क्रॉसिंग के दोनो ओर स्कुल, बाजार, बैंक व अन्य कार्यालय है लोगों को अपनी दैनिक जरूरतों के लिए इधर उधर आना जाना पड़ता है अगर यह क्रॉसिंग बंद हो गयी तो मलंचा, कुम्हार पाड़ा, सुभाषपल्ली समेत अन्य इलाके के लोगों को असुविधा होगी।

इतनी घनी आबादी वाले शहरी क्षेत्र में क्रॉसिंग बंद करने के फैसले के खिलाफ 2500 से अधिक लोगों के हस्ताक्षर एकत्रित कर रेलवे अधिकारियों से मुलाकात की है. लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ।

दास ने केंद्र व राज्य के सत्ताधारी दलों पर चुप्पी साधने का आऱोप लगाते हुए कहा कि आम लोगों के हितों के लिए वे आंदोलन जारी रखेंगे।

Kharagpur, activists of Amra bampanthi organized a signature campaign and held a protest meeting at kharida today, demanding not to close the level crossing at Kharida. Addressing the gathering, leftist leader Anil Das said that the signatures collected will be handed over to the DM and SDO and will seek intervention in the matter.

Anil Das while addressing the gathering said that With the inauguration of the Girmaidan flyover on January 12, the railway administration had closed the aurora level crossing. The plan was to close the Kharida level crossing also. But as a result of continuous agitation by leftist organizations the railway could not be closed.

 

At present, as soon as the Town Thana flyover is constructed, the railway administration has taken steps towards closing the Kharia Level crossing. There are schools, markets, banks and other offices on both sides of the crossing. People have to come here and there for their daily needs. If this crossing is closed then people of Malancha, Kumhar Para, Subhashpalli and other areas will face inconvenience.

 

They have collected signatures of more than 2500 people and met the railway officials against the decision to close the crossing in such a densely populated urban area.

Accusing the ruling parties at the Center and the state of maintaining mum, Das said that he will continue the movement for the interests of the common people.
