In view of the Developmental work in Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway, 18021/18022 Kharagpur-Khurda Road-Kharagpur Express will remain cancelled from 13.09.2023 to 17.09.2023

BHARAT GAURAV SPECIAL TOURIST TRAIN TO RUN ON 25.10.2023

Kolkata, 12th September, 2023:

 Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train will run from Godda Station, Jharkhand for Dakshin Bharat Darshan on 25th October, 2023 to 5th November, 2023. Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train is the first such tourism special train run by IRCTC for the travel enthusiasts.  It is in line with the Government of India’s initiative “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat” and “Dekho Apna Desh”. The Special Tourist Train for Dakshin Bharat Darshan will cover Tirupati, Meenakshi Mandir, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Trivandrum.

The train will commence the spiritual journey from Godda Station and will continue the pilgrim experience for 11 nights and 12 days. For passengers’ boarding and de-boarding, Bhagalpur-Kahalgaon- Sahibganj- Barharwa- Pakur- Rampur Hat -Bolpur Shantiniketan- Barddhaman- Kolkata-Kharagpur- Balasore-Bhadrak – Cuttack- Bhubaneswar- Khurda Road stations have been identified.

The package has been classified into 3 categories i.e. Economy (SL Class), Standard Class (3AC) and Comfort Class (3AC). Economy includes accommodation in Non AC Budget Hotels, whereas Standard and Comfort Categories involve accommodation in AC Hotels. The Wash & Change and Transportation by bus will be Non AC for both Economy and Standard Class but AC Room for Wash & Change and AC buses will be applicable only for Comfort Class. Morning Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided during the entire trip. Apart from these services, the train will have Professional Tour Escorts, ensured Security, Continuous support and assistance from IRCTC Tour Managers throughout the journey and Travel Insurance for the safety and security of all the passengers.

All these services will be provided at an affordable cost of Rs.21,300/- per person for Economy Class, Rs.33,300/- per person for Standard Class and Rs.36,400/- per person for Comfort Class. Indian Railways is offering approximately 33% concession for promotion of Rail Tourism under Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme. The above price is inclusive of the Concession.
