रेलवे में नौकरी दिलाने के नाम ठगी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार महिला सहित तीन लोगों को छह दिनों की पुलिस हिरासत, जांच जारी, पीड़ित लोग संपर्क करेः एसआरपी देबश्री सान्याल, ठगों के झांसे में ना आएः डीआरएम के. आर चौधरी     

 

 

खड़गपुर , रेलवे में नौकरी दिलाने के नाम पर घूस लेने के आरोप में जीआरपी ने तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर अदालत में पेश किया तो तीनों को छह दिनों की पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।।

 

एसआरपी देबश्री सन्याल ने बताया कि सबीना खातून नामक महिला को गिरफ्तार कर पूछताछ करने के बाद दो अन्य आऱोपी दुर्लभ चिन्ना व एम कोटेश्वर राव को गिऱफ्तार किया गया। पता चला है कि एम साई नामक कैंडिडेट से सबीना खड़गपुर स्टेशन के बोगदा इलाके में कैंडिडेट का बायोडाटा ले डील कर रही थी तभी वहां तैनात आरपीएफ कर्मी ने इंदा न्यूटाउन की रहने वाली सबीना उर्फ पिंकी से पूछताछ की जिसके बाद रिटायर्ड रेलकर्मी मलिंचा के रहने वाले एम कोटेश्वर राव व तालझोली निवासी व नीमपुरा में बतौर प्वाईंट्समैन कार्यरत दुर्लभ को गिरफ्तार किया गया।

 

एसआरपी देवश्री सन्याल के अऩुसार ये लोग फेक इंटरव्यू लेते थे व फेक नियुक्ति पत्र भी देते थे। पुलिस पूछताछ कर मामले की गुत्थी सुलझाने मं लगी है। जीआरपी को शक है कि अंतरराज्यीय गिरोह भी इसमें शामिल हो सकते हैं। सान्याल ने पीड़ितों को रेल पुलिस से संपर्क कर जांच में मदद को आग्रह किया है।

 

डीआरएम के आर चौधरी ने घटना पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि लोग ठगों के झांसे में ना आएं रेल में नियुक्ति बोर्ड से होती है उन्होने कहा कि जागरुकता के अभाव में कई लोग चंगुल में फंस जाते हैं जैसे ही उनलोगों को इसकी जानकारी हुई जाल बिछा आरोपियों को धर दबोचा गया मामले की जांच चल रही है।  घटना से रेल महकमे में हड़कंप है। 

 

DETECTION OF A FAKE RAILWAY RECRUITMENT RACKET

Several complaints were received regarding a fake recruitment racket operating in the DRM office in Kharagpur. It was suspected that both railway employees and outsiders were involved in this racket.

 

Based on the available information, a special team was formed under the leadership of IPF/G. Store/KGP, Suresh Kumar, along with SI Sunil Kumar Jha of RPF/Post/PKU and HC S.P. Mahapatra from RPF/Post/MCA.

 

Upon verification of the complaints, it was confirmed that a woman named Sabina Khatoon, also known as Sweety or Pinki, aged about 35 years, widow of late Ansar Mallick, residing at New Town Road, Flat no. A 1, Bhorer Alo, near LIC building, Inda, PS- Kharagpur (Local), Dist- Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, was involved in the case. She was in contact with individuals seeking jobs in the railway.

 

Two informants were engaged to contact Sabina Khatoon. During the interaction, she claimed to have contacts in the DRM office Kharagpur with railway officers and offered to arrange jobs for them in exchange for Rs 3 lakhs. She instructed the informants to visit the DRM office with their documents and Rs 50,000 in cash for processing. She also promised to arrange a meeting with railway officers and advised them to deposit their documents with a specified person.

 

On 28.3.24, acting on reliable information from the RPF special task team, Kharagpur, a joint surveillance and raid operation was conducted by RPF and GRP at the DRM office complex, Kharagpur as well as at KGP station area from 10:00 hrs. Around 15:15  the victim of a fake railway appointment namely M. Sai approached the RPF team at South side circulating area of KGP station and complained  of being cheated by Sabina khatoon in the name of providing a job in railway.  Immediately the joint team intercepted Sabina Khatoon with recovery of Rs 10,000 (paid by the victim as installment) circulating area of Kharagpur station. Upon questioning, she confessed her involvement in this case and disclosed the name of a railway employee, Dulab Chinna, aged 49 years, working as a Pointsman-B in the Operating Department at Nimpura Yard, Kharagpur and a retired railway employee namely M.Koteshwar Rao A/A 62 yrs S/O M.A.Naidu R/O Malancha, KGP as her associates. They were also available near the SBI ATM at the circulating area of Kharagpur station. They both were also intercepted by the team with recovery of Biodata of victim from them. They both confessed to their involvement in this case.

A Case has been registered at GRPS/KGP vide no /2024 dt- 28/03/24 U/S 319, 320 & 120(B) IPC against them. Further interrogation and investigation is continue to reveal all facts related to this racket.
