Kolkata, 11th August, 2023:
It has been decided to run two pairs of Independence Day Special train between Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi to clear the extra rush of passengers. This is the long awaited Night Service towards Digha for the first time.
08009 Santragachi-Digha Independence Day Special train will leave Santragachi on 12.08.2023 and 13.08.2023 at 23:45 hrs and will reach Digha at 03:30 hrs, the next day.
In the return direction, 08010 Digha-Santragachi Independence Day Special will leave Digha at 08:00 hrs on 13.08.2023 and 14.08.2023 and will reach Santragachi at 12:10 hrs, the same day.
The special train will have four AC-3 Tier and twelve Sleeper Class Coaches and will stoppages at Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda, Tamluk, Deshpran and Kanthi.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS
IN CENTRAL RAILWAY
Kolkata, 11th August, 2023:
In view of developmental works in Central Railway, the following trains will run on diverted route:
- 12130 Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express, journey commencing on 13.08.2023 will run on diverted route via Jalgaon-Vasai Road-Lonavala.
- 12129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express, journey commencing on 14.08.2023 will run on diverted route via Lonavala-Panvel-Vasai Road-Udhna-Jalgaon.
- 12221 Pune-Howrah Duronto Express, journey commencing on 14.08.2023 will run on diverted route via Lonavala-Panvel-Vasai Road- Udhna-Jalgaon.
In view of developmental works in Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway, the following trains will be cancelled as under:
Cancellation of Trains:
- 08008 Bhanjpur-Shalimar Special will remain cancelled on 12.08.2023.
- 08007 Shalimar-Bhanjpur Special will remain cancelled on 12.08.2023.
