Kharagpur, People of Subhashpalli Gauriya Math and Panchurlia Math have been providing food to thousands of poor people since last week. Bhakti Jeevan Acharya, the Maharaja of the math,told that every day, they provide food to the thousand to twelve hundred poor, on Wednesday, food was served to the poor in Nimpura leprosy colony. Acharya, who has served food to the poor in many places including Panchurulia, Saadatpur, Rajpura, Senchak, Bhimchak, Adivasi Para etc. Businessman cum social activist Ajay Bakli has played an active role in it. he said we are feeling gratefulto serve the people.
Here, on behalf of Mens Union, a total of 70 poor people were distributed food in the rail Basti area of South Development in Kharagpur town. Zonal Youth Coordinator Partha Pratim Haldar of the Union said that with the cooperation of AGS Abhijit Mallik, Divisional Coordinator Biswajit Laha, PK Pal and others cooperated.
On the other hand, a cheque of 20 thousand rupees was provided by the Kharagpur Yuva Sangha Club to the Chief Minister Relief Fund through MLA Pradip Sarkar, besides a total of 240 people of Malincha were provided food and masks. On this occasion Dipak Dasgupta, Joydeb Mandal, Dibakar Chakraborty, Tutu Banerjee, Swapan Sinha, Shiba Ghosh Supriya, Kakke, Sukesh, Prasenjit, Bila, Babu, Tapas and others were present.
